It was a proud moment for Maithreyi to personally meet and get blessings from the legendary dance couple Sri. Dhananjayan and Smt. Shanta Dhananjayan.
During a beautiful evening spent with them, Guru Smt. Shanta Dhananjayan briefly sang the Varnam that Maithreyi will be performing during the Rangapresam and made her dance for the same to get a flavour of her capabilities.
